Friendly vs Mixed Squad: Rotation and Adaptability

By Kofi Amoafo

Kisasa FC’s third friendly provided a different kind of test, facing a mixed side of Rosslyn Varsity players and Ambassadors in a match focused on rotation, adaptability, and continued development.

With league fixtures approaching, game management was key. No player featured for more than 60 minutes. The match was open early, with goals coming freely, but the emphasis remained on structure and understanding rather than the scoreline.

Players were rotated across multiple positions, with Coach Brice challenging the squad to adapt and communicate. The response was evident as movement improved, spacing became clearer, and the team began to operate more cohesively.

Kisasa looked freer, more connected, and increasingly confident — clear signs of a team growing into itself.

In the second phase of the match, squads were mixed further. Peter added his name to the scoresheet with a composed finish, while Morris continued his impressive form, using strength and awareness to score against older opposition.

There was also a noticeable shift in communication. Players were more vocal, guiding each other through phases of play and defensive transitions. While the score itself faded in importance, the performance stood out.
